Facebook and Instagram have deplatformed Children's Health Defense (CHD), a 501 (c)(3) group whose mission is, in part, to end childhood health epidemics by working aggressively to eliminate harmful exposures, hold those responsible accountable, and establish safeguards to prevent future harm.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a cofounder of CHD. The group's Facebook page was suddenly unpublished August 17, 2022 by Facebook. Instagram followed by suspending CHD's account there. Each of these platforms had hundreds of thousands of followers, CHD printed on its website. Collectively, more than half a million followers have been denied access to truthful information.
This was in spite of the fact that CHD was already on a 30-day Facebook posting ban. Removing CHD accounts is evidence of a clearly orchestrated attempt to stop the impact we have during a time of heightened criticism of our public health institutions, CHD said on its website. There's no clear indication of why Facebook and Instagram chose to deplatform us at this time, but the timing dovetails with our ongoing censoring lawsuit against Facebook.
